Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) As a network of youth led and focused organizations, YNSD is a membership organization constituting both regular and associate members. The regular members are non-political and non-religious youth organizations which are registered by authorized government office, whereas the associate members can be any organizations or institutions which support the Network’s objectives.
Orientation workshops will be organized for new members to familiarize them with the overall activities of the Network. Working Relationship between YNSD and its Member Organizations To strengthen the communication system and working relationship.
The Network has been performing the following activities under its Membership Affairs Department
Undertake regular general assembly meeting once in a year (one delegate from all Addis Ababa members and one delegate from each regional member organizations consortium).
Collect an update on the status of the members every year using the assessment questionnaire developed by YNSD.
When the Network wins a project either in Addis Ababa or in other regions of the country, it will assess and select the competitive member organization which will collaborate with the Network in implementing the project. In this case, the main responsibility of the selected member organization will be implementation of the project and YNSD will be responsible to supervision, monitoring and evaluation. But when it comes to capacity buildings of its member organization technically, financially or material support, the Network will organize its members and directly implement the project.
